Love is a Bitch is a project that I started in February 2011. An erotic series of hand painted Polaroids and illustrations. The idea is to capture moments or sensations that are only engraved in my memory. I attempt to project these memories onto the paper. Although the inspiration for the series is wide; from random photographies found online to specific memories I personally experienced, I also explore fantasies and interior conflicts sexuality provokes. I started this series as a outlet for my anger, frustrations and melancholia, thus creating a body of work filled with my own sensations.
I have now made over 300 Polaroids. To see more you can check every single Polaroids and their stories on Dima’s private collection.
